Pimainus Lakes Fishing Camp

Pimainus Lakes Fishing Camp Here at Pimainus Lakes Resort we are able to offer the complete backcountry outdoor adventure. Our resort is made up of a chain of four lakes, the resort being situated on Pimainus Lake (the largest lake) featuring wild native rainbow trout.

We have 6 uniquely handcrafted log cabins and 4 campsites which are situated on select sites overlooking the lake. Each cabin is equipped with wood and propane stoves and are completely outfitted with dishes and cooking utensils. As we have no electricity, all you need bring is your linen, lantern, portable cooler and of course your fishing rod!

We have boat rentals on all four lakes. Fishing is our main attraction. Our guests enjoy all aspects of fishing, as the Pimainus Lake Highland Plateau offers more than 20 fishable lakes within an hours drive. Within 6 miles you can fish for legendary trophy Gerrard Trout at Island and Calling Lakes and these trout range up to 20 lbs. For the kids, they can catch one after another (smaller trout) in our "kids lake they'll never be bored so long as they're "reeling in the big one".

There are numerous hiking trials to explore in this remote, quiet, unspoiled backcountry and mountain biking is becoming more popular. At our altitude (5100 feet) we also have guests who train for marathons! We sell flies, lures and gifts in our small shop at the lodge. Bring your camera as you are sure to see all types of wildlife at any time during your stay.

We are only 3 hours from Vancouver (between Merritt & Spences Bridge). Book early as our repeat business is booked over a year in advance.
